Estate Planning | Probate | Trust Administration
The firm specializes in estate planning, probate, trust administration, general business matters, and private client advisement, providing thoughtful, strategic guidance for clients with complex personal and financial lives.
Jennifer McNeil-Lozano founded McNeil Lozano Law, PC in 2012 to provide sophisticated trusts and estates planning with a highly personalized approach. Based in Los Angeles, the firm advises individuals, families, and business owners with complex estates and evolving wealth.
Before establishing her own practice, Jennifer worked with both major and boutique production companies and a music studio giving her first-hand insight into the entertainment industry and the unique planning challenges faced by creatives, executives, and entrepreneurs. That background continues to inform her work today, particularly for clients whose wealth is tied to intellectual property, closely held businesses, and non-traditional or fluctuating income streams.
Jennifer serves as a trusted advisor, regularly collaborating with wealth managers, accountants, and other professionals to deliver integrated and strategic planning tailored to each client’s goals. She is Co-Chair of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, serves on the board of the Conejo Valley Estate Planning Council, and has served as a Panel Attorney for the California Lawyers for the Arts.
Malcolm S. McNeil brings more than four decades of experience in litigation, regulatory defense, and complex dispute resolution, serving as a trusted advisor to private clients and closely held companies across a wide range of industries. His career has been defined by a practical, solutions-oriented approach—navigating contested matters, regulatory challenges, and high-stakes business disputes from every angle of the legal system.
Malcolm began his legal career by founding his own practice shortly after law school, representing clients with roots in the insurance industry and beyond. Within five years, the firm expanded to multiple attorneys and a full support staff, handling sophisticated business, litigation, and regulatory matters for both domestic and international clients. His practice grew alongside his leadership within the international legal community, including his election as President of the International Association of Young Lawyers (“AIJA”) from 1998 to 2001.
Following this period, Malcolm transitioned to large-firm practice, joining a premier Hawaii-based firm in 2004 and later a national law firm in 2008. In 2013, he joined ArentFox Schiff, where he served as International Practice Co-Leader throughout his tenure, advising on complex litigation, cross-border matters, and business transactions. Concurrently, he served as a settlement officer for the United States District Court, Central District of California, further deepening his focus on resolution-driven advocacy.
In 2026, Malcolm concluded his tenure as a partner at ArentFox Schiff and joined McNeil Lozano Law, PC as Senior Of Counsel, bringing his private and corporate clients to the firm. His practice now complements the firm’s core focus on trusts and estates, private client advisory, tax planning, and trust administration, allowing clients to receive integrated counsel across business, fiduciary, and dispute-related matters.
As Senior Of Counsel, Malcolm is routinely consulted as strategic litigation and advisory counsel on complex and often intractable matters. He provides high-level oversight, drawing on his trial experience, transactional background, and mediation expertise to develop roadmaps toward resolution—whether through litigation, negotiated settlement, or structured business solutions.
Known for his persistence, clarity, and persuasive advocacy, Malcolm is frequently described by clients as their trusted advisor and outside general counsel. He has a unique ability to synthesize competing interests, manage complex dynamics, and craft global solutions that bring matters to a successful conclusion.
Malcolm has served on numerous nonprofit and professional boards, including the Atlantic Legal Foundation, Exceptional Children’s Foundation, and the Hong Kong Business Association of Southern California. He is a Past and Honorary President of AIJA, currently serves as Co-Chair of the International Mediation Committee of the American Bar Association, and is a Past President of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
